Hidden II.
Memory Ann Forwalt. A Face-in,, 2014.
Pencil, Marker & Watercolor on Drawing Paper.
14 cm x 21.6 cm (5 1/2 in x 8 1/2 in).
A piece in which my Hidden poem was built upon. Although, the pain is depicted on the left side, it actually occured on the right. -backwards.. Strange silhouttes would exist when my eyes were wide shut.. Unless properly simulated, a face-in remained unseen & undetected.. for a great number of months., & sometimes, beyond a year. Another loved familiar, remained there, undisclosed and hidden, behind my closed, right eyelid.. Merely, another form, that takes place -as the mind reader.
Memory Ann Forwalt. Scrutinizing Agony, 2014..
Pencil, Marker & Watercolor on Drawing Paper.
10 cm x 15 cm (4 in x 6 in).
An explanation piece that depicts a misunderstood pain, but predictively points directly to the source.. A metal structure wrapped around the face of a once, familiar man while having been a full layered attachment to my own body. An excruciating pain, one in which I will never forget, nor beg for it's return.
