A Collection.

Memory Ann Forwalt. The Lone Maiden, 2016.
Oil, Watercolor & Acrylic on self-made Canvas.
50 cm x 67.5 cm (20 in x 27 in).

She stands in the midst of rolling green pastures - a retreat. It's as if she has discovered a make believe, far away land. It's a place built on the past that she can't reach and a future that is yet to be. It's a place where she can play and simply pretend. She is titled, The Lone Maiden.

Memory Ann Forwalt. Lovely Lady, 2016.
Watercolor & Acrylic on Canvas Panel.
27.5 cm x 35 cm (11 in x 14 in).

A simple discovery of woman. Her flesh is laid against a solid black background leaving the eye to perceive only the figure and the unusual tone of her flesh.  She is simply named "Lovely Lady."

Memory Ann Forwalt. Expressions of an Old Man, 2016.
Watercolor & Acrylic.
30 cm x 60 cm (12 in x 24 in).

This fun piece has three parts depicting the expressions of an old man. Each individual expression is framed with a copper metallic paint, fencing in each section. It is my favorite piece thus far and is duly named, Expressions of an Old Man.

Memory Ann Forwalt. Comedy Night, 2016.
Watercolor & Acrylic.
30 cm x 60 cm (12 in x 24 in).

The commedian sits on stage ready to hear the applause of his audience. His comedy, funny. His personality, contagious. Comedy Night puts his character in the spotlight as he thinks to rattle off his next joke in hopes of making the audience laugh. His next obsolute, "Sorry that most of my hilarious jokes are borderline inappropriate. And by sorry I mean you're welcome." - Unknown. Thus, we call this piece Comedy Night.
